can i change my website address?

  I would like to change the website address. Is this possible? Thank you.

  Hi there,

  Sure thing! You have two options for changing your site’s address:

  1. You can Register a New Domain to use with your site. That way, instead of the free .wordpress.com address, you can use a custom domain like yourgroovydomain.com.

  You can register a new domain from the Domains page.

  2. You can change your site’s free address. That will change the free .wordpress.com address to something different.

  You can change your site’s free address on the My Blogs page in the WP Admin dashboard.
