Can I clone my WordPress blog?

    I’ve just done my first WordPress blog. It has around 30 blogs worth of travel text and photos and I’d like to create a copy in WordPress so that I can play around with it and improve my skills.

    Is there an easy way that I can copy the whole thing to a second site so that I don’t risk messing up the original?

    Hi there,

    We don’t offer a way to clone a site like that, but you can create a new free site in your account at https://wordpress.com/start/site/

    Then you can create an export file of your existing site at My Site ->Tools ->Export, and import that to the new site at My Site ->Tools ->Import.

    There’s no way to move your settings, theme setup and customizations in the same way, so you’ll need to duplicate that manually on the test site.
