Can I clone my wordpress.com blog?

  I currently have a wordpress.com blog, and would like to splice it into two blogs, and self-host the resulting two blogs.

  Any ideas on how I can do this 1. quickly 2. inexpensively?

  Thanks for any advice you are willing to give me…I am anxious to welcome my twins to the world!

  If you separate the posts into categories, then you can export each of those categories separately and import them into the new sites.

  Export Your Website’s Content

  As far as “inexpesively” goes, you will need to purchase two different domain names and renew them each year, and you will need to hire a web host. Figure about $12 to $25 per month total (including all expenses). With most web hosting packages you can have multiple domains on one hosting account.

  For any pages and such you have on the one site, you will likely be better off doing a copy and paste to the new sites.
