Can I create a secure, private portal on my blog?

  I would like to create a secure, private portal on my blog. Is that possible? If so, how?

  What do you mean by “a secure, private portal?” If you want a private website, that’s easy, but you can’t have a blog where some parts are public and some completely private except to a select group of users who are not also contributors. And WordPress.com staff always have access to all parts of your blog.
