Can I disconnect the account connection in Jetpack?
-
An blog that we are using (not this current account) is connected to a now defunct email account. Because of this, I am unable to view further stats at WordPress.com or to sign into our wordpress.com account. When I view the Jetpack dashboard, I am only given the option to ‘Manage the Site Connection’, not the account connection. Is there any way I would be able to change this?

Hi uorlibrary,
Because of this, I am unable to view further stats at WordPress.com or to sign into our wordpress.com account.
Can you send me a link to the blog you are unable to login to? Once I know more, I’ll be able to look at your options.
Thanks!

Hi
The username for the blog is special-collections.
This is the URL http://blogs.reading.ac.uk/special-collections/
Thanks! -
Thanks — blogs.reading.ac.uk/special-collections is a self hosted WordPress.org site which is connected to another WordPress.com account using the Jetpack plugin.
If you are unable to login to WordPress.com with the username lizrosemccarthy, please fill out the Account Recovery form in order to try and recover the WordPress.com account:
You should be able to login to the site directly using this link:
https://blogs.reading.ac.uk/special-collections/wp-admin
If you are unable to, I recommend speaking to the IT department at the University of Reading — they should be able to help you out.
Come back to me if you have any questions.
