can I drop upgraded paid site and keep the free site?

  can I drop the updated site and just keep the free site? does my content continue on there?

  Hi there,

  If you no longer want your custom domain at standingstonesphotosolutions.com or the other upgrades in WordPress.com Premium, that’s no problem. You’re welcome to keep using your site at its free WordPress.com address at http://standingstonesphotosolutions.wordpress.com/ . All of your content will continue to be accessible there even if you choose to cancel your custom domain.

  You can also use the “Cancel” link on your My Upgrades page to split up the WordPress.com Premium plan into its individual upgrades. If you do that, you can choose to renew individual upgrades (like the custom domain) and let the other upgrades expire.

  Just as a reminder, though: If you choose to cancel your custom domain or let it expire, you’ll give up ownership of that domain name. There’s no guarantee you’ll be able to get it back again in the future, so only do that if you’re sure you no longer want it.
