Can I email my followers

    Hi. I have *subscribed to some blogs, and sometimes I receive emails which link me to their blog posts. I was wondering if I can do such a thing. Can I send an email to all my followers? Not the one they receive when I upload a new post, can I send an email to all of them, or is this not an option. Thank you!

    Hi –

    Yep. There’s 2 ways for folks to subscribe to your blog. When they subscribe they receive new post notifications either through their email address or through the Reader and their WordPress.com user account.

    Enabling an option for email subscribers is smart because it gives an option for folks with out a WordPress.com user account to follow along.

    You won’t be able to send out random emails to your following list. They receive your new post notifications via email though.
