Can I insert plug ins by upgrading my free wordpress.com blog to personal plan?

  I am considering getting my own domain, before I do that, I need to know if I can install plug ins by purchasing ‘personal’ plan through wordpress.com? Thanks all.

  Buying an upgraded plan doesn’t change the fact that you can’t install your own plugins here at WordPress.com. If you explained what you are trying to do there is always the chance that staff could advise a workaround solution. But if plugins are a dealbreaker then you’d need to consider a self-hosted site using the WordPress.org software.
