Can I lock a post in a multi-authored environment?

  I am the administrator of a blog. I need to lock submissions after a certain time. Is it possible?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  If you’re the only person who is an editor or administrator of the blog, yes. if not, no.

  Actually, the blog I need help with is not the blog above, but some I am administering with my students. I guess that automatically got put there.

  I searched the dashboard tools and so on, and was unable to find a command to lock. I’m sure it’s fairly simple, but any help would be appreciated. I am the only administrator of the blog. The students, at present, are authors. I can change them to viewers once they’ve finished their work, which might be one way to ‘lock’ the pages.
