Can I merge my accounts? Or change my login email?

  I made a wordpress account for school and made it ‘ignamiranda’, which is my preferred username. I then realized I had another wordpress account on my personal email.

  I don’t want to use my school email ( (email visible only to moderators and staff) ) for long-term stuff because my school might close it.

  Is it possible for me to keep my ‘ignamiranda’ username from the student email account but be able to log in and do stuff like (for example) password recovery using my personal email?

  Hi there,

  The school email you provided above is not connected to any account on WordPress.com.

  Any WordPress.com usernaem account can only be connected to one email address, and any email address can only be used by one account at a time.

  If you want your ignamiranda account to use the email address currently connected to your ignamirand account, you’ll first need to change the email for your ignamirand account to something else to free up that email.
