Can I move blog from Blogspot to WordPress.com without http urls showing in link

I can not move a blog from Blogspot to WordPress.com (free) without having the http urls show with links in the blog in WordPress. Must I pay a host company to move my blog from Blogspot? A few years back I was able to move a blog from bloghost, Blogstream, very cleanly–without paying a host company as Fatcow to help with moving blog. Now Blogstream closed shop Jan. 31, 2012. Knowing they would close, I moved my 3 blogs to Blogspot.

I moved my blogs to Blogspot because you said you would have added a code or means by which I and others could move blogs from Blogspot to WordPress cleanly. But apparently this was not the truth. In Wisconsin we have a Dept. of Agriculture where people can report fraud. Kindly help. Thank you. Dr. Will Sandstrom, BA, MS, PhD, email,[…]

    Hi there,

I’m not sure I follow. What URLs are you referring to?

Could you walk me through the steps you’re taking, and what exactly the problem seems to be?

Have you tried using the Blogger importer at Tools -> Import -> Blogger in your WordPress.com blog’s dashboard?
