Can I move my blog from BlueHost to WordPress?

I have been with BlueHost for two years. I am a very low budget site; I don’t sell products nor do I solicit donations. I am a information ONLY site. BlueHost is trying to force me to the PRO plan which I can’t afford. I am a retired Minister and I pay for this service myself. I just want the most inexpensive solution to present my information.

My current site on BlueHost is named seedsoffaithministries.com If I move this site would I lose the name and have to acquire a new one? My current site is obviously a wordpress compatible site. All of my maintenance is done with WordPress. I have a backup file. If I lose my current name how then would the backup be used to regenerate my content? Also, the reason I want to move is based on BlueHost trying to force me to a more expensive plan. If I opt to go with WordPress for hosting; is there any assurance you won”t try to force me to upgrade later also? Thanks for your assistance. I have until April, 2022 to decide what I will do…

I recently moved off of BlueHost as well for a project at work.
Assuming your name is purchased through BlueHost, you can transfer the name (Domain Name) to WordPress as well.They have a great tutorial for it.
