Can I prevent my blog being copied and pasted elsewhere?

  Hi all,

  Is it possible to stop my blog being copied and pasted into a forum in its entirety? Obviously this action then dramatically reduces the hits recorded against it, which I think we probably all enjoy watching accumulate.

  No, there is no real way of preventing it. There IS, however, a very sweet option after someone’s stolen it: you file a DMCA notice not only with them, but with their web host and then, if they don’t take down the material, they can lose their entire site.
