Can I protect my images from download?

  I would like a theme that enables me to have roll over mouse showing full size images or a rolling slide show on one side if the screen with text on the other? Is this available in any of the themes/templates? Also I don’t want viewers/users to be able to download my images.

  One option you could try with any theme that has a sidebar area is to add a Gallery Widget to the theme’s sidebar. You can set up a slideshow in that widget that will scroll through your images in the sidebar, while you can enter text in the main content area.

  Some other themes also include featured post sliders, which is another way to display images — usually large images at the top of the page. You can browse through the themes that offer a post slider in our theme showcase:

  If you aren’t finding what you want there, it would also help if you could share an example of another site that has the features you’re looking for. That will help me give you tips for how to get a similar effect on your site.

  Also I don’t want viewers/users to be able to download my images.

  There isn’t a way to completely block visitors from download images from your site — someone who is really motivated can get around any blocks you try to set up. I’d recommend using the tips in our guide to Prevent Content Theft.
