Can I redesign my website with another theme without disabling my current website?

  I have a blog that I am posting on regularly and I am thinking about a redesign.
  I would like to start designing, with a new theme, now but I would like to keep my blog up and running during this process.
  Is there anyway for me to do this?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)
