Can I take my domain name with me?

  I was unaware that I could not build this website like an online marketplace, now I am very eager to get this started and would like to know if I can take my domain name the .com one with me to a different host site??

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Absolutely.

  You have two options. You can point your domain to another webhost using these instructions:

  Change a Domain’s Name Servers

  And once 60 day have passed from registration, you can transfer your domain to another domain registrar:

  Transfer a Domain to Another Registrar
