I’m trying to transfer my domain to another registrar but I fear that I started the process too late.

Are you have a specific issue with the transfer? Have you gotten stuck anywhere in the process?

At my new registrar it says that the transfer is “in Progress” but nothing has happend for 3 days and the domain is about to expire..

Do I need to renew my domain before it expires to ensure that I can transfer it? Or will it still be transfered even though it expires??

If the transfer has started, you should be just fine.
Have you received the transfer email?

Since I did not want to lose the domain I renewed it with wordpress, but on my “my domains” page it now says that it has expired..

Ok, so now the transfer started but my new registrar says that the authorization info is wrong.
Did the authorization info change because I renewed the domain?
And why does it still say that the domain is expired? -
I’m seeing the expiration date for kbkadventures.com as being 2015-09-30. so no need to worry there.
The authorization info shouldn’t have changed due to the renewal. But there’s no harm in restarting the transfer.
