Can I unpublish blog until it's ready to go live?

  I’m in the process of moving my blog from Blogger to WordPress and am not ready to go live. Is it possible to hold my URL without it being live?

  Also, the recommended site Posterous is no longer functioning, could you recommend another site to help move my blog over?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Just go to Settings->Reading and set the blog as private.

  You’re welcome. Note that when you set it to Public again, it normally takes longer than usual for search engines to find it, so don’t think you can just go public and BAM! Be in Google.
