I’m looking into using a free Uiball loader on my website. I’m using the free plan. Would this be possible? Thanks!

Hi there,
To use such a loader, you’d typically need to either install a specific plugin, employ a specialized theme, or add custom code. Unfortunately, on the Free plan, these capabilities are limited. However, the good news is that all these functionalities are fully unlocked with our Business plan. If you’re interested, you can quickly upgrade below.
By the way, I’m curious, what specifically drew you to using a loader? Depending on your needs, we might have other suggestions or features that can give you a similar effect, which might be available on other plans, including the free one.

Hi,
Thanks for your suggestion! I just wanted to have one just in case someone had slow wifi or something; I wanted something more customizable to my website. Another question: would it be possible to create a popup of sorts – for example a ‘subscribe’ popup or something along those lines?
Thanks!

I understand. This might not be required here on WordPress.com as we have optimized all our themes to load quickly, even on slower connections. Plus, we use a Content Delivery Network (CDN) to ensure your visitors from anywhere can get to your site’s content quickly.

Of course! You can encourage your visitors to join your subscriber list by presenting a pop-up window upon visiting your site: https://wordpress.com/support/newsletter-settings/#enable-subscriber-pop-up

Thank you! I created some other threads for a couple of other questions/technical difficulties I had. If you could help me with those, that would be awesome
