Can I use WordPress as a headless CMS to fill my blog content on my externally hosted next.js app?
-
Hi team, I already have a deployed web app that is developed with next.js. Now we want add a blog to the web app. I am wondering if I can add the blog as using WordPress as a headless CMS and Graphql to query the content to my repository (next.js).
So basically the structure will be website.de/blog/[postID]
WP.com: Yes
Correct account: YesThe blog I need help with is: (visible only to moderators and staff)

Hi there,
On WordPress.com we use a managed version of WordPress that is intended for end users and is not appropriate for custom development.
Instead I would recommend that you consider the self-hosted version of WordPress, which can be had through a “traditional web host” like Bluehost, GoDaddy, etc. The open-source software itself is free and you can download it here if you prefer to set up your own hosting: https://wordpress.org/download/
Since your question is fairly advanced, you will likely get the best help here at this link, hope this points you in the right direction!
