Can I use wordpress to build a site on my current hosts server

I have a domain name and a host for my site. I just created an account on wordpress and want to know how I can you use your website design tools to build a new site on my existing server. Thank You

You can, but for that you’d use the WordPress software from https://wordpress.org/
To clear up any confusion, WordPress.com and WordPress.org are two different entities: https://wordpress.com/support/com-vs-org/
