Can my site go live without hosting???

On the checklist for setting up my site it keeps pushing me to host? Why can’t it go live and be searchable without a host? I thought WordPress was the host. Please help!

WordPress is the software used to build your site. In order for your site to be online, you need to host it somewhere.
I see that you have adminallies.wordpress.com which is hosted with us (WordPress.com).

You have only one post on that site, and that post was published in December last year.
We ping all the major search engines every time you publish a new post, but if you never publish any content that doesn’t happen, and more importantly, search engines cannot index your site if there’s nothing to index.
Start publishing new content on your site on a regular basis – at least three times a week to get started – and search engines will start indexing your site again. Even then it can take up to eight weeks before your site will start showing up in search results, as that’s typically how long search engines take to fully index a site.
