Can 'New Post' link in admin bar be configured to show full-sized edit?

  Clicking ‘New Post’ in the admin bar gives me a quick post box (http://wordpress.com/#!/post/), which I usually find too small. I would rather it gave you a full screen edit box (http://vogelworks.wordpress.com/wp-admin/post-new.php?post_type=post) instead, like it used to. Is this configurable? ‘New Post’ is useless to me, I have to go to dashboard to get a full-sized edit box instead, which is really annoying. I have several blogs under the same account, by the way.
