Can not access my domain in wordpress

    I have lost my site luxeskincare.com.au. Please advise what I need to do to retrieve it.

    Hi there,

    The site luxeskincare.com.au appears to be a self-hosted WordPress (also called “.org”) site hosted on VentraIP Web Hosting, and not a site hosted on our WordPress.com service.

    To clarify, we are not the only providers of WordPress sites, and VentraIP also happens to offer WordPress sites, but they use a different version of the platform than what we use here.     Thank you for getting back to me so promptly. My problem at the moment is that I took over the maintenance and improvement of the website when I joined Luxe Skin Care. I would much prefer to deal with wordpress.com.and have access to the latest and better versions. I have found out that the domain hosting has expired with the VentraIP Web host.

    Can you advise me what to do. I am the admin for our site – If I wanted to have the wordpress.com service, how do I transfer over and furthermore do I have to start from scratch with the site.

    I found that the old service lacked a lot of features that I have re in forums etc. and had issues that I could not resolve with the what I now know to be a different version of the platform. Mark

    You need to get in touch with your domain registrar/hosting provider to sort this out.

    No. our transfer tool will migrate all the contents (pages, posts, media files, etc.). The only thing you might need to do is to work on the layout of the site once it’s transferred.
