Can not get photo to project into Facebook. Used to be easy.

Hi there,
Are you speaking of the photo that Facebook pulls in for the post preview when you share a post there? Nothing is being projected into Facebook – we don’t send the image to Facebook. Instead, Facebook fetches the image from your site by looking up metadata on the link you share.
There are several reasons why Facebook might not correctly pull in an image. Please give a link to the specific post you’re trying to share, and I can take a look why it’s not working in this case.

I can create another post, put the same introduction headline and the photo in, publish, and share with the photo showing in Facebook just fine. So, I have been trying to figure out if there is some code in the way, does the way the blocks work somehow ended up blocking it?
It would be the introduction and 1st photo here.

@skabewis — odd. Would you be willing to try adding the image as a featured image to see if that will help?
I’m looking at the post here:
https://developers.facebook.com/tools/debug/The image link shows in meta data, but it’s not the one you wanted, and I think it’s too big to show up (14MB).

I added the image as a featured image and that did not change the projection into Facebook, just the image at the top of the page.
I also resized the photo a couple of times and that did not help. Finally started to recreate a new post, with title and picture, then sub titles, 2 paragraphs, etc, posting, updated, published and then testing how it took to FB. Everything was find, then I copied the rest of it and copied it into the body of the post and it still was projected, however I noted the following.
#1. Noted that the Gallery Photo display were all gone and each photo was not at its original size, one by one.
#2. The photo that was projected to Facebook was/is a photo that is found in about the middle of the manuscript, rather then the 1st photo which did project the first 3 times I posted, published and shared — when I put the final body in, the projected/photo used by FB comes from the middle of the post.
I don’t know if this helps. Let me know what you think. I needed to get this done and out, and at this time, it is done and out even though I am not sure what happened, or why the photo display weirded out on me — I image maybe some code got in the way — but, I would like to know what you think of the 43th photo of 57 used on the post being used, to display in FB?
