Can people without a wordpress account still follow my blog?

  Hi! I’m hoping to make it possible for people who don’t have an account or email address registered with wordpress to follow my site, but several people have reported that when they try to verify their email address they get a message that it can’t be verified bc it isn’t associated with a wordpress account. Is there a way to change that?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  People can follow your blog without a WordPress.com account. Please have them follow the instructions here:

  https://en.support.wordpress.com/following/#if-you-do-not-have-a-wordpress-com-account

  Is this the process they are following? Let me know and I will look further into this for you.
