can someone give their blog address to me?

  Hi there friendly team,

  Here is the situation: I wanted to register a blog with the address cslp.wordpress.com, but it was already in use. when i checked out the site, i saw that it hadn’t been used in 5+ years, so i contacted the owner & asked if he would let me have it. He said OK. But now neither of us quite know what the next step to take is. Can you advise? My goal is to create a new blog with totally different content. I am not taking over the existing content. I don’t know the username for the current cslp.wordpress.com admin, but I’ve been in touch with him via email. (NOTE: the blog URL i am selecting below is NOT the blog in question…)

  Hi there,

  The only way to transfer a blog address from one WordPress.com user to another is to transfer the blog itself. You can find instructions for doing that here: Transferring Your Blog to Another WordPress.com User or Account

  If the other user doesn’t want to transfer their blog’s content, they can create a new blog at a new blog address and move their blog contents there (by exporting them from the old blog and importing them into the new blog). Then, they can delete the contents from the blog at cslp.wordpress.com before transferring it to you.
