can visibility be restricted so my blog is not easily found but is easily shared

  can you create a blog that can be shared with friends by sharing a link, not published and easily found by general public?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Yes, on the settings->Reading, you can choose the option to make your blog public, but not indexed by search engines.
