Can you help me before I purchase a website template?

  Hello!
  I’d like to create a new website that needs to allow me to upload podcasts, Twitter feeds/widgets, blog from HockeyBuzz and photos. I have an existing website through Network Solutions and would like to keep our domain as slapshotradio.com, can I do this without using wordpress.com?

  Hi there!

  You can definitely do this WordPress.com! All of our themes support podcasts:

  Create a Podcast

  And all of our sites support domain mapping so that you can use an existing domain with your site. To map your domain go here:

  dhttps://wordpress.com/domain

  And select “Map an Existing Domain”. Once that’s squared away, and you’re site is ready for the domain to direct to it, you can update your name servers to:

  • NS1.WORDPRESS.COM
  • NS2.WORDPRESS.COM
  • NS3.WORDPRESS.COM

  If you let me know what registrar your domain is registered with I can find some directions for you to do this! :)
