Can you promote your ebook on wordpress ?

Hey, I was just reading the Advertising support and they tell you not to include “Clicktrackers and any promotions” .. does this include promotions of one’s own ebook too ?

There are many writers on WordPress.com who happily promote their books, e-books on their websites. Do have a look at the “types of blogs” link mentioned in the Support document on advertising http://en.support.wordpress.com/advertising/
