Can you transfer a domain hosted elsewhere into WordPress for a current WordPress website?

  If I change my domain host to WordPress, where my website is housed, and cancel hosting elsewhere, how do I do this?

  Will a domain email with WordPress work right away so I don’t lose customer emails or inquiries?

  What is the best way to do this?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  While we register new domains here at WordPress.com, we’re not able to accept incoming transfers of existing domain names. Therefore, we recommend that you keep the name registered at your current registrar. You can use the domain for your site here at WordPress.com by mapping the domain, as explained here:
