  I need to cancel the domain so that I can set it up elsewhere. We have already canceled the purchase….please advise on how to get the domain released! Thank you!

  Hi there,

  Are you speaking of sunsettosunset.net? That domain has never been registered with us. You only had it mapped here. If you want to use it somewhere else, you need to point the name servers to your new hosting provider, and this needs to be done at the domain provider where you bought the domain. We can’t do it for you, as we don’t have any access to your domain.

  It looks like you’ve already cancelled the mapping upgrade, and the name servers are already pointed to GoDaddy, as are the IP addresses.

  However, I see the domain is still trying to connect to WordPress.com. We have no control at all over that domain any more, so likely there’s some redirect active on GoDaddy’s end. Their support should be able to help you remove that.
