Cancel a domain

  Hi,
  Recently I bought a Doman through you on the spur of the moment, but I have decided to change it to a different name. How do I delete this domain and get a refund?

  The refund timeframe for a domain is limited to 96 hours of registration, https://wordpress.com/support/refunds/#domains

  Domain name registrations and renewals are refundable if the domain is canceled within 96 hours (4 days) from when the domain was registered or renewed.

  Hi,

  So it doesn’t look like you purchased a new domain from us. I’m seeing that you purchased a WordPress.com Starter plan and started the domain transfer process to move kedesh.net from your current registrar (Google) to have to registered at WordPress.com.

  Does this sound correct?

  Yes. The Kedesh.net is the new domain I want to use instead of the believer.solos domain. How do I delete believer domain?

  I found it! The believer.solos domain is now deleted. Are you sure I cannot get my money back!? I didn’t even do ANYTHING to that domain. I didn’t even look at it until just now.

  Hi @della712, you didn’t buy believer.solos here, so there’s really nothing to refund for that. If you bought it somewhere else, can you request a refund with them?

  Regarding kedesh.net, I can see you initiated a transfer, but it is locked at Google Domains because it’s newly registered there.

  If they’re willing to work with you on it, you might be able to cancel and refund with them, then register it here after a few days using your plan credit. Please confirm with them first.

  Alternatively, you can wait 60 days and transfer the domain after that, or simply keep the domain connected as you have it right now.
