Cancel a Parked Domain

  Hi, I canceled my domain on WordPress (aeranoire.com). When I visit my site, It says that this domain is parked. I want to fully delete my site so I can create another website using the same name. Please help.

  If you cancelled https://aeranoire.com/ then you no longer own that domain. I have added the modlook tag to ask if a member of staff could to reply to you.

  Hi there,

  Cancelled domains are not released immediately, and it can take anything from a few days to over a year before a cancelled domain becomes available again, if at all. You should never cancel a domain that you still want to use, as there’s no guarantee that you’ll be able to use it again somewhere else in future. Only cancel a domain if you’re completely sure you no longer want it at all.

  aeranoire.com will only be released after it expires in May 2020, and there is no guarantee you’ll be able to use it again once it is released.

  If you still want to use that domain, I can restore it to your account. Then you’ll be able to transfer it to another provider once you’ve owned it for 60 days, which should be by the end of next week. But there is no way for us to manually release the domain immediately so you can just register it somewhere else.
