cancel account

  I somehow have two accounts associated with the same email address. One with upgrades and one free account. I want to cancel the free account but the other account is showing as a secondary account. I want to make sure I don’t lose the content of the premium account when I delete the .wordpress.com account…

  Hi there,

  What is the email address (I will be the only one to see it)? It is not possible to have two different WordPress.com accounts associated with the same email. I wanted to check and see what is under the email address.

  Hi there,

  I found one username associated with the email you provided. Are you able to log into the account that is associated with the email? I see in your records that you were trying to update heidibitzdotcom.wordpress.com to heidibitz.com. Is what you are referring to?

  Hi, yes, initially that’s what I was trying to do. But to complicate things, I know that I have an email address associated with an upgraded account which is supposed to be just http://www.heidibitz.com under my email ((email visible only to moderators and staff)). So I was confused as to why heidibitz.com was showing up as an account under the (email visible only to moderators and staff) email address. I would like to delete the heidibitzdotcom.wordpress.com account, I just wasnt sure since I was seeing heidibitz.com in there, if I could delete the free wordpress.com account without messing up access to the upgraded heidibitz.com. Sorry, that’s confusing.

  Hi there,

  heidibitz.com is hosted with Wix, and I assuming that your upgrade is with them. if you are still planning on keeping the site there, it won’t affect that site if you decide to close down the WordPress.com site.
