  I’d like to cancel my account and start a new one. What is the process to do this? (I tried through the delete my account page, but it asked me to go to the support forums)

  Hi there,

  I don’t see anything in your account that would prevent it from being cancelled. Are you following the steps as outlined in http://en.support.wordpress.com/close-account/?

  At which point in the process does it tell you to contact support?

  Note that if you delete this account, you won’t ever be able to use the username, matmilam40 again, and you won’t be able to use the email address on your account currently with another account for at least 30 days.

  If you just want a different username, you can change your username without having to delete your entire account:
