Cancel and Refund of Domain Mapping
-
Hi, I would like to cancel and refund my domain mapping purchase I bought today. But when i clicked Cancel and Refund, it loaded me a blank page. Please look into this matter because I would like to use my domain I bought on Godaddy.com but it is still being mapped to the old wordpress blog i just deleted. Thus, I am unable to use my domain.
My domain is carlwave.com
The wordpress site I deleted was: carlwave.wordpress.com

I have processed that refund for you. Please be aware that it can take up to 7-10 business days for refunds to show up on your statement.
Please let me know if there is anything else I can do for you.

Hi, thank you so much for your fast response!
May I ask, when I enter carlwave.com to my browser, it still goes to carlwave.WordPress.com. What should I do such that I can reuse my domain for another Web hosting site?
-
I’m seeing carlwave.com point to a self hosted WordPress site.
If you are still seeing your WordPress.com site, you should clear your browser’s cache.

Hi, so after I clear my cache, I am able to map my domain to a new Web hosting site? Or is there more steps I need to do?
-
Your domain is already pointing to a non-wordpress.com site. Clearing your browser’s cache just tells your browser to look for a new version of the page that carlwave.com is pointing to. Browsers save (cache) websites so that they can load them more quickly.
