  I believe you mean that you want to remove the domain mapping to http://backagainstthelaw.com/ from backagainstthelaw.wordpress.com
  To do that requires you logging in as Admin http://en.support.wordpress.com/user-roles/#administrator under the exact same username account that registered the underlying .wordpress.com blog.

  To disable autorenew, provided you are logged in under the exact same username account that registered the blog underlying .wordpress.com blog and purchased the domain mapping upgrade go to > Store > My Upgrades and click the “disable auto-renew” link.

  There is no “> Store > My Upgrades ” option that displays on my screen.

  OK, I finally figured this out. Thanks for your help.
  The missing step is that a WordPress user must click on the pencil icon to create a blog. This opens up the page where the “Store” link appears.

  I am disappointed that WordPress makes it so difficult to disable an automatic $99 charge. This is a violation of consumer protection laws. Canceling a blog/domain/site should be a one-click function.
