Cancel Domain

Hello! I am needing to cancel my custom domain name purchased from WordPress, but still wanting to keep the site. How do I do that? I didn’t see the option to cancel under ‘Manage Purchases’.

What domain do you want to cancel? The account you’re using to post here does not own any upgrades on WordPress.com.
If you mean the domain, wendysteampage.com, that domain belongs to another user on the site, wendysteampage, who also owns the site itself. Only that user can cancel the domain, so if you own that account as well, please log in as that account and you will see it in your Purchases page.

Oh, I had no idea I had another user/account for this page. The page has only ever been managed by me. But yes, the wendysteampage.com is the one I’m referring to. I will try to figure out how to log in to that account. Thank you!

Log out of this account and clear your browser cookies. Then use that username to log in or to reset your password if necessary.
