Cancel Import

    I need to cancel my import to godsmoteblog. I think the file is too large.

    Hi there,

    At 61MB the file is definitely too big. Our importer has a file size limit of 15MB, but the smaller the file, the better the chance of the import succeeding. I’ve reset the importer on your site so you can try again.

    If the site you’re importing from still online? If so, please go through the comments and delete any comments that are spammy or low-quality, and also make sure the Spam, Trash and Pending folders in comments are cleared, as those can significantly inflate and export file. Then do a new export.

    If the new export is still too big, please try splitting it using an XML splitter app. You can also do partial exports on WordPress sites, but if you do that there’s a chance not all image files will be transferred when you import it here. Make sure all images in the media library show as “attached” to prevent that.
