Cancel My Domain

    I would like to delete the domain https://thehopeprojectchbc.wordpress.com/ as we have created another website, and won’t be using/updating the WordPress one anymore. As it’s a domain that will never expire there doesn’t seem to be any edit/cancel options that are listed on your help pages.

    The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

    Hi there,

    If you want to delete a website using a free WordPress.com address (like your site at thehopeprojectchbc.wordpress.com) you can do that under Tools > Delete Site in the site’s dashboard. We have a full guide for that here: Delete Site

    However, please note that deleting a site is permanent and can’t be undone, and no one (including you) will be able to use that free address again in the future. If you have any questions about that, please let me know!
