cancel my subscription

    As you can see from my site it is not active and I wish to cancel my annual subscription being debited to my credit card. Do I just delete the site permanently?

    Hi there,

    The account you’re using to post here has never purchased any paid upgrades from us, and we don’t even have a credit card on file for your account, so there is nothing to cancel. If you no longer want your site you can delete it, and you can even entirely close this account, but you won’t be charged either way – WordPress.com is free to use, and you’re only charged if you buy an optional paid upgrade from us.

    If you are being charged for a WordPress.com plan, that plan belongs to a different account than the one you’re using to post here.
