Cancel private registration to enable registrar transfer

  I’m transferring to another registrar but they are unable to verify my ownership because I chose a private registration with WHOIS.

  How can I enable confirmation of my ownership? Could I do this by canceling private registration (ie, going to normal registration)? What’s the fastest way to ensure transfer?

  This guide explains how to transfer the domain name to another registrar. Please follow those steps, which included canceling your private registration upgrade to release the transfer approval.
