cancel registered domain

I would like to delete my registered domain name, which is zenfitnut.com. I just did it about an hour ago and I see I have 48 hours to cancel. Please advise!

If we cancel the domain, it can take up to several weeks, and we can’t guarantee that your domain will be available to you again once canceled.
If you want to keep using your domain but you don’t want to use WordPress.com anymore, you don’t have to cancel it.
Instead, you can move the domain another site, using the Domain Administration tool under Store > Domains, at the bottom of the page.

If you don’t want this domain at all, you can cancel it for a full refund if you purchased it within the last two days.
To cancel the domain, go to Store > Domains in your dashboard. Locate the domain you want to cancel in the list, and click on the Cancel button next to it.

I think I will still go ahead and cancel it, as I still plan to use wordpress, but have been advised to use bluehost (my husband had a bluehost site) so that I have more options down the road for membership usage etc..

You can certainly cancel it, we just can’t guarantee when you’ll be able to re-purchase it.
If you’d like to cancel it, you can do that from Store -> Domains in your blog’s Dashboard.
