Hello,
Last year I set up a blog – humleochdumle.com – Now I wish to cancel my site as I so not know whether it will expire on its own or wheter it is set to renew itself. How do I ensure that it is cancelled and I am not charged for yet another year? / Regards Pernille -

No problem. Please write to us from the account where that domain was set up. Sign out and back in as nilleochmia.
From that account you can see the entire billing and renewal history from https://wordpress.com/me/purchases/
It looks like renewal already processed as the site registration doesn’t expire until 2020-12-23. We can issue a refund and cancel it if you like – just need to hear from you under the right account.

Thank you for returning back to me.
Now I think I found where to write this message. Yes, I would like to have the premature renewal on WordPress’s behalf to be cancelled and for a refund to be issued to my card.
I have unfortunately not had time to work with my blog as hoped for.
I look forward to hearing from you with a confirmation of my cancellation as well as the refund into my account.

As far as I know I have now cancelled my subscripiton, which was incorrectly prematurely renewed and I am awaiting a refund. I have however received a message that a message from me to you was not received/ so to ascertain that my message has been received and that my cancellation has been effected I would like to hear from WordPress with confirmation. Moreover I have sent a question as to why the 198 kronors for the domain, might not be refunded? Surely, that must be incorrect as my domain together with my account was – as stated above and confirmed by wordpress in previous communications (in this thread) prematurely renewed by you. Please return back to me as I wish for this matter to be finalized before the 23rd, which is the expiry date. // Kind regards Pernille Bjärum

As far as I know I have now cancelled my subscripiton, which was incorrectly prematurely renewed and I am awaiting a refund.
You cancelled your plan, and we’ve refunded the 360.00 SEK cost of the plan, as you cancelled it within the 30-day refund period. But you did not cancel the domain, humleochdumle.com, and it is still registered to your account.
Moreover I have sent a question as to why the 198 kronors for the domain, might not be refunded?
Domain renewals can only be refunded for 96 hours after a renewal, so in this case until 27 November.
As it has been almost a month since the domain renewal at this point, we are no longer able to issue a refund for the domain’s renewal cost. If you no longer want the domain you can cancel it from the Purchases page linked to above, but you are no longer eligible for a refund on that upgrade.
We also told you this via email yesterday in another support request you opened.

As per our renewal policy which you agreed to when you purchased those upgrades, all WordPress.com upgrade auto-renew 30 days before expiration, which in this case was 23 November.
We sent you the first email reminder that this renewal was approaching on 24 October, and we also emailed you a receipt immediately once the renewal was processed on 23 November.
