  Hello –

  How do I cancel my wordpress account? We moved over to our e-commerce site, but this site is still up and just needs to be deleted.

  The site I need help with is [visible only to staff] (email visible only to moderators and staff)/wp-admin/. It is not hosted by WordPress.com or connected with Jetpack. This site is not linked to my WordPress.com account.

  Hello, I’m sorry to hear that you are having trouble with your website. However, your site is not hosted with WordPress.com. It is a site using the open-source WordPress software (from WordPress.org) but hosted elsewhere.

  Because WordPress.com and WordPress.org are two entirely separate entities, we cannot access files or data for sites that are hosted elsewhere, so WordPress.com staff can only assist with sites that are hosted on our servers.   In this case, you’ll need to contact your hosting provider’s support about this.
