Canceled Recurring Accounts- Still billed

    Good afternoon- Last summer (May/June) I went through all of the recurring fees and widgets on my site to cancel them as my website was no longer running and the business had since closed. I just received a call from my bank saying that a charge of $89 was charged in January for Event Services. I’m not sure how this is possible as everything was made inactive last year. When I closed the account with WP, that should have trumped everything, even if something wasn’t switched off correct? Please advise-

    What is your site URL? There is neither a site nor a history of any charges under the account you are contacting us from. The charges for even services doesn’t found like anything that we provide. Is your site hosted with WordPress.com or is it a self-hosted WordPress.org site?
