Canceled subscription but now can't put domain back to Godaddy!
-
I had originally set up a domain (purchased at Godaddy)
I decided that I would rather forward my domain with GoDaddy so I canceled my paid redirection with WordPress.
But my domain now says I need to log into WordPress to redirect it!!
What do I need to do??? I didn’t see anywhere to transfer it. Just to cancel my account. I own the domain via Godaddy…
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi there,
Exactly what are you trying to do? You don’t own any upgrades on WordPress.com, so there is nothing to cancel.
If you want your free WordPress.com site, http://matmomcom.wordpress.com/, to appear at your domain, matmom.com, the only way to do that is via the domain mapping upgrade included in our paid plans. You cannot make your WordPress.com site show at the domain by setting up domain forwarding with GoDaddy. That won’t work, and will break several features of your site.
A redirect is the complete opposite of domain mapping. You’d buy a Site Redirect if you want your WordPress.com URL, matmomcom.wordpress.com, to take people to a completely different site at your domain, matmom.com instead.

I bought a domain on Godaddy.
I purchased the service from WordPress for my domain to be the address for the blog.
I decided I don’t want to do it that way. Cancelled the wordpress $99 service for my domain to be primary.
When I go to my domain it says:
Warning! Domain mapping upgrade for this domain not found. Please log in and go to the Domains Upgrades page of your blog to use this domain.I canceled it. Yet still seems to be directed at WordPress.
Ive confirmed with GoDaddy the NS records are correct. But still I receive this message.

We have no control over and no access to the domain. It’s registered with GoDaddy, and it’s pointed at them. Only they have control over what shows at that domain, which currently appears to be an Etsy store.
If your browser is still trying to take you to us when you load the domain, the problem is with your browser. Please clear the browser cache, and if that doesn’t work, clear your computer’s DNS cache, then it should take you to the correct site.
