canceling my account and starting new one

    Hi Team
    I am new to the whole web page designing and purchased the premium version of wordpress a while ago. I was hoping to learn how to set up my webpage using tutorials available online. Unfortunately the versions online show you different version and I was unable to following with the version I had.
    I needed a web host and found one that offered wordpress as a free download. I setup an account with them proceed to download their version. This version was the same as the tutorials available online , so I should be able to follow.
    I attempted to use my WORDPRESS log on details but was unable as it was already used by my older account
    On attempting to delete the older account the fine print says you must wait 30 days before getting another account.
    Is there a way of waiving this waiting period as I really would like to proceed with my new webpage.
    I’m not interest in getting any refund from my old account, I would just like to get started with my new wordpress account.

    From what you tell it looks you have been following tutorials for wordpress.org which is different from the wordpress.com platform. That’s why you couldn’t follow with what you call your version.
    wordpress.com is is no way related to the open source wordpress.org you are using now. It’s logical you can’t use your wordpress.com login on a wordpress.org website.
    Your new webhost should provide you with a login for your new wordpress.org website.
