Canceling Personal Plan – hyperlinks

  Hi, I recently canceled my personal plan and domain and switched to the free version and my former __.wordpress.com domain name. It seems that any hyperlinks on my site that referenced my paid domain (without __.wordpress.com) have broken. Do I need to update each hyperlink individually?

  Hi there,

  This is what happens when you cancel a custom domain, yes – all links using that domain will no longer work, as we no longer have control over that domain and thus no way to redirect traffic from that domain to your free address.

  We don’t have any way to bulk-update any existing references of the domain on your site, so you’ll have to edit and update each one individually.
